Tonight was our annual WonderLAN traditional XBOX LAN party.
We started with OutRun 2 then Halo 2, Crimson Skies, Mechassault 2 and finished with – the not so retro – Blur. There were a few hardware issues which we’ll sort out before WonderLAN Next.
I had 4 Wiis there using a DWC server running in a virtual machine on my MacBook to communicate as if the Nintendo Wireless Network still existed. Unfortunately it didn’t work reliably – Mario Kart Wii worked but gave errors – GTI Club Bomb Tag worked for the first round and then gave an error during the second. More investigation required.
Everyone had a good night and have decided to do it again before March next year.
