No theme this meeting – members brought what ever they wanted. The arcade machine was connected to the projector for some classic gaming including a Bomberman run. There was a Lynx, N64, Dreamcast and a few unique items. Andrea and Robert had a Hanimex knock off console from Tempest.
Alex had his Darth Vader Atari 2600 which w
as modded with video out and LED lighting and he had a Supercharger which was designed to load the supplied games from a cassette. There is now a compilation CD of these games to make it easier and Alex had them on his mobile phone and was able to load them from there.
During the short formal part of the meeting there were give aways of old Retro Gamer magazines. We also decided on a theme for the next meeting – Segmented LCD Games – that is Game & Watch style LCD NOT dot matrix type.
