Dungeon Explorer is a fun RPG/action game for the TurboGrafx-16 released in 1989. It is quite similar to Gauntlet (more recently Gauntlet Legends, found in many arcades), in that you explore many areas where enemies continually spawn from certain points until you destroy them. It is ideal for multiple players (up to 5) to partake in this adventure, but it is still doable as a single player. The story takes place in the land of Odessia, where the ORA Stone was stolen by the Devil King, Natas, and it is up to you to recover it. The game will take you through many dungeons of progressive difficulty, but there will be plenty of stat-boosting items to pick up along the way. If you happen to have access to a TG-16, this should definitely be on your list to play!
